THE 8th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGING CHALLENGES: CONTEMPORARY ISSUES ON INNOVATION AND MANAGEMENT

Hanoi University of Science and Technology, The University of Danang – University of Economics, University of Economics and Business - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, National Economics University, University of Hertfordshire (UK), AVSE Global (France) and British Council will organize the 8th International Conference on Emerging Challenges: Contemporary Issues on Innovation and Management (ICECH2020) in Halong, Vietnam, on November 2nd-3rd, 2020. We would like to invite you to be a part of the ICECH2020 and submit your research papers for presentation consideration.
The aim of ICECH2020 is to provide a forum for academics and professionals to share research findings, experiences and knowledge for growth and sustainability in Asia-Pacific. We welcome the submissions in Strategic Management, Operation and Supply Chain Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Finance and Accounting.
Authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their work at the Conference. In addition, authors of best papers will also be invited to submit their papers for publication consideration in selected journals. These papers will also be under an official double-blind peer-reviewed process by the journal.

Keynote Speakers:
Professor Michael D. MYERS
Michael D. Myers is Professor of Information Systems at the University of Auckland Business School, New Zealand. His research focuses on digital transformation and the relationship between IT and people in an organizational context. Michael won the Best Paper award (with Heinz Klein) for the most outstanding paper published in MIS Quarterly in 1999. This paper has been cited over 6000 times according to Google Scholar. He has served as Senior Editor of MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Information & Organization, Pacific Asia Journal of the AIS and European Journal of Information Systems. He also previously served as President of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) in 2006-2007. Michael is a Fellow and a LEO Award winner of the Association for Information Systems.

Professor Sabri BOUBAKER
Sabri Boubaker is a Professor of Finance at EM Normandie Business School (Paris, France) and Research Fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Gestion (University of Paris Est). He has published many academic papers (+80 papers) in top-tier international refereed journals. He was visiting professor/researcher in many universities around the world during the last 10 years. He also serves on editorial boards of many academic journals such as British Journal of Management, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money (Subject Editor), Emerging Markets Review (Subject Editor), Economic Modeling (Subject Editor), Finance Research Letters (Associate editor), and Business Ethics: A European Review (Associate Editor). He is the co-founder and co-chair of the annual Paris Financial Management Conference (2013–) (+500 submissions per year), the Vietnam Symposium in Banking and Finance (VSBF) series (2016–) (+300 submissions per year), and the Annual Meeting of the International Society for the Advancement of Financial Economics. He is also the President of the International Society for the Advancement of Financial Economics (ISAFE).

Professor Nigel CULKIN
Dr. Nigel Culkin is a Senior Academic Manager at the University of Hertfordshire (UH) and rightly acknowledged as an expert in the field of Innovation & Entrepreneurial Learning. He has published widely in small business leadership, the role of entrepreneurial universities, graduate enterprise and digitalization, as well as completing projects for UK and overseas government agencies, large multinational organizations and Research Councils. He was awarded the title of Enterprise Educator at the UK National Enterprise Educator Awards in 2012; elected to the post of President at the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE) in 2014 and in 2015 was invited to join the prestigious Peer Review College at the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). Nigel is a regular contributor at the UNCTAD Expert Meeting on entrepreneurship and building productive capacities, held annually in Geneva. His latest book, Tales of Brexits Past and Present: Understanding the Choices, Threats and Opportunities In Our Separation from the EU has been discussed on Sky News, BBC World Service, R5L and LBC Radio. Between 2019-2022, Nigel is part of a consortium of leading scientific research and academic institutions formed to identify innovative solutions to tackle climate change linked to the agri-food sector, funded by the Société Générale UK Foundation. The SHAKE Climate Change Fund (£3.5M) supports entrepreneurs who have developed, early-stage science or tech-based ideas, that can have a significant impact on climate change, as well as form the basis of a sustainable and socially responsible business within the sector.
