As climate change intensifies, reducing carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions has become a central pillar of sustainable development and global climate action. Countries around the world, such as China, Germany, and India, are adopting green transition policies encompassing renewable energy, green finance, and industrial restructuring. While existing studies have explored various aspects of green transition and carbon mitigation in specific fields, such as green finance, industrial restructuring, and sector-specific approaches, there is a lack of comprehensive analysis connecting these diverse domains globally. This study aims to bridge this gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis using data from the Scopus database. Bibliometric methods have been extensively applied in research areas like education, entrepreneurship, and social media, offering insights into publication patterns, collaboration networks, and thematic development. By applying bibliometric analysis to the topic of carbon dioxide emissions reduction in the context of green transition, this study identifies key research trends, influential authors and journals, and emerging topics that shape the landscape of carbon mitigation efforts worldwide. The findings provide a broad overview of the interdisciplinary connections among technology, economy, and policy, and they are beneficial to stakeholders and policymakers striving to achieve carbon neutrality and sustainable development goals.
